Role Overview This position involves practicing as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) with responsibilities in independent nursing and delegated medical functions, aligned with accepted standards. Key duties include conducting comprehensive data collection, formulating accurate diagnoses, developing and implementing treatment plans, performing procedures within scope, and educating patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention. Additional responsibilities encompass thorough documentation, managing telehealth encounters, emergency actions, and other clinical or administrative tasks. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, team collaboration, safety, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity. It also involves maintaining professional competence through ongoing education, certifications, and participating in quality assurance activities. Qualifications & Skills Masters in Nursing for APNs or Bachelors for PAs, from accredited programs.Valid state licensure and certifications, including specialized NP or PA credentials.National Provider Identifier, BLS, DEA registration, and additional certifications as required.Ability to perform procedures within scope, provide patient education, and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.Demonstrated customer service skills and commitment to continuous professional development. Key Duties Gather medical histories and perform physical examinations.Assess data, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.Perform procedures per regulations and organizational policies.Educate patients on health, prevention, and treatment options.Document all patient interactions accurately.Participate in telehealth, emergency responses, and quality activities.
