About the Role
Under the direction of the Director of Strategy, and as a key member of the Trinity Health Georgia recruitment team, this role supports and fulfills creative recruitment and sourcing strategies for physician and mid-level provider recruitment. You will partner with physician and provider recruitment teams across the System Office and Ministry teams to create and maintain a strong, diverse candidate pipeline using innovative strategies to meet current and future provider recruitment growth and development plans for Trinity Health.
Responsibilities
- Leads and facilitates interviews, stakeholder meetings, and selection processes to ensure successful recruitment and onboarding of providers.
- Communicates effectively through clear, professional written and verbal interactions with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Independently sources and engages provider candidates from diverse and evolving talent pools, including both established and untapped channels.
- Develops and implements innovative outreach and recruitment strategies to meet organizational growth and workforce needs.
- Partners collaboratively with System Office, local recruitment teams, senior leadership, and operational leaders to assess needs, align on candidate profiles, and support hiring decisions.
- Applies knowledge of provider sourcing strategies to identify, develop, and foster relationships with prospective physician and advanced practice provider candidates, building and enhancing candidate pipelines.
- Generates and supports physician and provider sourcing and acquisition strategies using in-house resources, innovative sourcing techniques, and recruitment methods to attract highly qualified candidates for current and future clinical opportunities.
- Utilizes multiple proactive sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, career websites, marketing, cold calling, professional medical association networking, recruitment events) to target and deliver highly qualified provider candidates.
- Executes individual search strategies in alignment with system-wide provider needs analysis.
- Strategically initiates proactive provider recruitment searches using broadcast and individualized email blasts to maximize exposure and recruit top-tier candidates.
- Reports search efforts to partners, recruitment teams, and leadership.
- Sources passive candidates by reviewing online profiles through databases, job boards, and recruitment tools to identify and target provider leads for difficult-to-fill opportunities.
- Proactively engages passive provider candidates to develop candidate pipelines through timely follow-up calls and outreach.
- Handles incoming provider inquiries (phone, email, initial outreach) and miscellaneous departmental inquiries.
- Maintains critical and confidential provider communication with viable candidates under consideration.
- Reviews and evaluates provider CVs/applications, conducts phone screening interviews, and assesses candidate suitability and fit for Trinity Health opportunities.
- Coordinates with System Office and Ministry recruitment teams to ensure candidates receive appropriate information about opportunities.
- Prepares detailed written summaries and presentations of candidates for review by Trinity Health Ministry recruitment teams and local leadership.
- Documents sourcing and candidate lead generation activity using the in-house applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Maintains detailed candidate tracking reports reflecting sourcing activities, recruitment efforts, and outcomes.
- Monitors and tracks key performance indicators and metrics related to candidate pipelines and sourcing.
- Supports the preparation of reports related to recruitment efforts.
- Maintains working knowledge of Trinity Health and its ministries, as well as local communities, to convey details to candidates.
- Presents detailed information about opportunities to candidates with clarity and specificity.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and applies them to enhance provider sourcing practices.
- Provides innovative solutions and problem resolution for difficult searches while ensuring cost-effective methodologies.
- Participates in physician recruitment projects and collaborates with leadership to improve sourcing, recruiting, and placement of providers.
- Handles sensitive and confidential information.
- Maintains knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Trinity Health’s organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration or Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible healthcare recruiting experience, preferably in physician and provider recruitment.
- Experience with full life-cycle provider recruitment is highly preferred. Alternatively, experience in medical staffing/credentialing, Graduate Medical Education, or Advanced Practice Provider recruitment may be considered.
- Healthcare industry experience is required.
- Working knowledge of legal issues surrounding immigration, visas, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with provider recruitment strategies, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of various medical and surgical clinical specialty areas.
- Experience using online provider recruiting tools and sourcing methods with a demonstrated track record of high-volume sourcing of physician and provider talent.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing passive physician and provider candidates using innovative best practices.
- Experience with high-volume sourcing and recruiting using job boards and social media.
- Proficiency with robust applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRM to manage and track candidates and sourcing efforts. Experience with Practice Match is highly preferred.
- Ability to expertly navigate between multiple systems.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and excellent phone, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with all levels of provider candidates and organizational leaders.
- Strong customer service focus with excellent networking skills, especially with physicians and providers.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while meeting high demand and changing deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize workload and assignments with excellent time management skills for executing multiple high-volume work assignments.
- Ability to work concurrently on a variety of provider searches.
- Demonstrated team player with a history of achieving results and being performance-driven.
- Willingness to work some non-traditional hours to accommodate physician and provider schedules and recruiting events.
- High-level computer skills, including proficiency with Windows-based systems, email, internet, word processing, and database applications.
- Expert knowledge and experience with Excel spreadsheets, data tracking, and presentation software.
- Experience with social media platforms used specifically for recruitment purposes.
- Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Qualifications
Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) and/or Certified Health Care Recruiter (CHCR) certifications are encouraged but not required.
