Physician Access Coordinator - Full Time - Rotating Shift

This role serves as a strategic liaison between community physicians, patients, families, and internal departments. The Physician Access Coordinator leads initiatives to optimize patient access, enhance physician engagement, and improve operational efficiency across the health system. The position requires a high degree of autonomy, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration with matrixed accountability across clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that support seamless navigation, service excellence, and data-informed decision-making.
• Manage complex workflows and collaborate across departments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Serve as a liaison to optimize patient access and physician engagement.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; post-high school education or training preferred.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations, patient access, or physician relations.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and manage complex workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in medical electronic systems (Epic preferred) and data documentation.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication, and cultural sensitivity.
