Physical Therapy Tech

Job Description

The Physical Therapy Technician role is responsible for maintaining the flow of our gym. This encompasses helping patients through exercises under the supervision of the PT, maintaining the cleanliness of the gym, and ensuring a smooth transition between patients.

• Maintaining a clean and professional image
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Attending ongoing trainings and bringing improvement ideas to the table for team discussion
• Placing high emphasis on HIPAA compliance
• Using time management and efficiency skills to help keep the clinic tidy, clean, and organized
• Keeping an organized record and updates to the Professional Plan of Care
• Aid the therapist by helping patients with exercises and setting up professional equipment for treatment
• Aid the therapist in documenting effectively and quickly the treatment being performed
• Clean-up/sanitizing of tables, rooms, and equipment after patient use
• On-site laundry duties
• Our Technicians are cross-trained as a Front Office Coordinator. Additional responsibilities include covering the front desk, answering phones, scheduling patients, making initial evaluation calls, etc.
