Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence while enhancing their overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical TherapistImplement individualized treatment plans according to physician orders and therapy goalsMonitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Physical TherapistDocument treatment sessions, resident responses, and progress notes accurately and timelyCollaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to support positive resident outcomesAssist with discharge planning and caregiver educationParticipate in care conferences and team meetings as neededMaintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environmentEnsure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulationsSupport residents in achieving their highest level of function and independence Qualifications Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programExperience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferredExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferredStrong communication, clinical, and documentation skills Licenses & Certifications Current South Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standingMust maintain all required continuing education requirementsMust remain in good standing with the State Board Apply Today Join the Reedy River Post Acute therapy team and help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.
