Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), PRN

About the role

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Kent Hospital. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, applying therapeutic modalities, monitoring patient responses, and educating patients and their families or caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Physical Therapist
• Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered
• Provide timely updates on patient progress or needed adjustments to treatment goals
• Support discharge planning
• Advise on adaptive equipment
• Connect patients to community support resources

Requirements

• Associate's degree from a PTA program
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred
• Current PTA license in state of practice
• CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Pay

$35.00 per hour hourly range

Schedule

ARU, 8 hour shifts, 2 shifts monthly minimum, 1 weekend shift, 1 holiday annually
