Physical Therapy Assistant - PRN

About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant collaborates with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans aimed at restoring or improving patient mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion.

Responsibilities

• Execute treatment activities as outlined in patient care plans
• Revise care plans based on patient progress and therapist input
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques
• Document treatment sessions according to established protocols
• Ensure safe and cost-effective use of equipment
• Promote a positive, patient-centered environment
• Participate in training and compliance activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
