Physical Therapy Assistant - PRN

Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant collaborates with physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans aimed at restoring or improving patients' mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, and adjust goals in coordination with therapists and patients.Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and refer to community resources.Document treatment sessions and complete required documentation accurately.Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance.Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and organize workload efficiently.Promote a positive environment, demonstrate excellent customer service, and apply service recovery principles.Engage in ongoing professional development, complete mandatory training, and participate in orientation and training of new staff. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma and an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy.Valid PTA license and BLS certification are required at hire.Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate integrity, and provide compassionate patient care.
