About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Full Time, Part Time, or Per Diem opportunity in Senior Living Communities within York and Lancaster Counties. The position involves providing treatment, tests, client education, and interventions to adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being
- Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Have current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- Graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have one year of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service
- Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
- Perform other activities as requested
Requirements
- Current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- Graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- One year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal history check
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicle record check

- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of home health care procedures and protocols

Pay
