About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health visits in Senior Living Communities in York and Lancaster Counties. The position involves assisting clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, client education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being
  • Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Have current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have one year of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
  • Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist

Requirements

  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Must be able to pass a criminal history check
  • Must be able to pass a motor vehicle record check
  • Must be able to pass a tuberculosis test
  • Must be able to pass a physical examination

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
