Physical Therapy Assistant, Senior Living Visits

Purpose

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks a Full Time home health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy to geriatric patients in senior living communities in Bedford and Billerica.

About the role

This position assists in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapy to geriatric patients in senior living communities in Bedford and Billerica.

Requirements

• Current licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
• At least one year work experience as a PTA, under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of home health care protocols and regulations.

Pay

$45-52 per point, depending on qualifications.
