Physical Therapy Assistant, Senior Living Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to perform home health visits for their Montgomery County Senior Living Visits office. The office serves adult and geriatric patients in senior living facilities throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. The PTA will primarily travel to the Potomac and Rockville areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Must have current licensure or certification in the state of MD.
• Must have graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have one year of appropriate experience as a PTA and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service if initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
• Must have at least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Perform other activities as requested.

Requirements

Pay

Base pay, depending upon qualifications: $43.00-51.00 per point.
