About the role

Merkel Nursing Center, a long‑term care and post‑acute rehab facility in Merkel, Texas, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its in‑house therapy team. The ideal therapist is innovative, positive, and team‑oriented, and will work alongside a dedicated group of therapists and an experienced rehab director to treat a wide range of conditions.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement therapy programs that meet the specific needs of patients.
• Collaborate with the in‑house therapy team and rehab director to deliver coordinated care.
• Provide high‑quality physical therapy services in a long‑term care and post‑acute setting.
• Participate in a supportive environment backed by Vital Therapy, which provides leadership and resources across 85 locations in Texas and Oklahoma.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Physical Therapist license.
