Physical Therapist (PT) - Early Intervention

About the Role

The Physical Therapist in Early Intervention provides assessment, treatment, program planning, and documentation for children aged birth to three.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Adapt treatment plans based on child and family needs
  • Coordinate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Establish schedules and communicate findings to families and team members
  • Develop home and community-based programs
  • Mentor students and supervise support staff
  • Fabricate adaptive devices and train caregivers
  • Review service quality for effectiveness
  • Participate in family education initiatives
  • Communicate with management regarding caseloads

Requirements

  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working with medically fragile children (preferred for some referrals)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual needs
  • Mentorship and supervisory capabilities
