Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as required by state licensure and professional standards.
- Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, meet clinical and billing documentation requirements, and attend relevant meetings.
- Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address comprehensive patient needs.
- Select appropriate therapeutic regimens based on patient needs and capabilities.
- Adapt treatment plans as needed to meet individual patient needs.
- Promote a safe environment and enforce safety protocols.
- Order supplies and equipment as necessary.
- Clean, maintain, and report equipment needs for repairs.
- Ensure high-quality patient service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
- Evaluate patients, develop treatment goals, and implement physical therapy plans.
- Train patients and caregivers in essential skills for independence and productivity.
- Perform routine reevaluations to modify or progress treatment plans.
- Incorporate health and wellness programming into treatment plans.
- Assess and recommend safe mobility in the home and community.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
- A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy-related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
- A valid driver’s license or reliable, independent transportation.

Pay
USD $87,802.00 - USD $110,565.00 /Yr. Bonus: USD $5,000.00
