Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as required by state licensure and professional standards.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, meet clinical and billing documentation requirements, and attend relevant meetings.
• Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address comprehensive patient needs.
• Select appropriate therapeutic regimens based on patient needs and capabilities.
• Adapt treatment plans as needed to meet individual patient needs.
• Promote a safe environment and enforce safety protocols.
• Order supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Clean, maintain, and report equipment needs for repairs.
• Ensure high-quality patient service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment goals, and implement physical therapy plans.
• Train patients and caregivers in essential skills for independence and productivity.
• Perform routine reevaluations to modify or progress treatment plans.
• Incorporate health and wellness programming into treatment plans.
• Assess and recommend safe mobility in the home and community.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy-related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
• The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid driver’s license or reliable, independent transportation.

USD $87,802.00 - USD $110,565.00 /Yr. Bonus: USD $5,000.00
