Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and functional needs to diagnose impairments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and gait training to improve mobility, strength, balance, and pain management.
• Assist patients in developing compensatory strategies, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance independence in activities of daily living.
• Educate patients and families on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies for long-term health.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, including HIPAA and Medicare regulations.

Requirements

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patient-centered approach to care with a strong work ethic and reliability.
• Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.

Pay

Anticipated base salary range: $77,417.00 to $116,126.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
