About the role
Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide services within our Montgomery County preschool special education program and in community-based Early Intervention (EI 0–2) services.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to support children’s gross motor development, mobility, strength, and participation in educational and daily activities.
- Carry out evaluations and develop treatment plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals, as appropriate.
- Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and caregiver coaching across center-based and community settings.
- Maintain and document progress toward therapy goals and adjust interventions based on data and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, service coordinators, families, and other related service providers to ensure coordinated supports.
- Participate on IEP and IFSP teams as needed, providing input on motor development and adaptive equipment.
Requirements
- Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License required.
- Pediatric or early childhood experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and family engagement skills.
- Able to work effectively in both center-based and community/home settings.
