Physical Therapist - Early Intervention

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers with gross motor delays. The role involves delivering therapy in natural settings such as homes and community environments, collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to support motor development and ensure carryover into daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for infants and toddlers with gross motor delays
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals
• Deliver therapy in natural environments (e.g., homes, community settings)
• Document services per program standards
• Coach families to support child progress
• Adjust treatment plans based on child progress

Requirements

• Current Connecticut Physical Therapist license
• Experience working with young children (preferred)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Reliable transportation
