Job Description

• Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to access physical conditions, limitations, and pain. Collaborate with patients to establish personalized treatment goals aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Treatment Planning & Implementation: Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a combination of manual therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Educate patients on injury prevention, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Provide clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress, and expected outcomes.
• Patient Education & Support: Offer guidance. Provide resources for continuing pelvic health care, including at-home exercises and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy | Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Program
• Current Physical Therapy license for the state of New Mexico
• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
• Possess and enhance up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
• Able to handle physical workload
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy for patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills as to manage daily case load
• Strong leadership qualities
• Basic computer skills
