PHYSICAL THERAPIST (FT VARIED)

About the role

Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting functional mobility and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Evaluates patients’ functional mobility and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Administers treatments such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Documents patient progress and communicates with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Nevada State License as a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying the APTA academic and intern requirements for competence.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
