About the role

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Absorb and assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities
  • Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and step in with additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • An Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Current PTA license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Previous rehab or acute care experience (preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Pay

The base compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for external candidates.

Schedule

The shift is Full Time, with a schedule of 0800-1630, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and holiday work as needed.
