Provide patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to improve well-being within a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise physical therapist’s treatment plans
• Instruct patients in exercises, gait, activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, and safety
• Monitor and report patient responses and condition changes
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members within scope
• Adapt to diverse home environments and patient needs

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification to assist in physical therapy
• Valid driver’s license
• Availability for weekend work

Preferred Skills

• CPR certification
• Physical ability for mobility assistance
