About the role
Provide physical therapy assistance to patients in their homes, following a treatment plan established by a supervising Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Instruct patients in exercises, muscle re-education, gait, activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, and safety.
- Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers within legal and scope-of-practice boundaries.
Requirements
- Valid physical therapy assistant license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Availability for weekend work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility.
