Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time

About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to enhance patient well-being within the established plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state laws and supervise PT-approved treatment procedures.
• Assist patients with active/passive exercises, gait, activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Monitor, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on therapy techniques.
• Work effectively in diverse home environments, ensuring inclusive care.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification to practice physical therapy assistance.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle or transportation.
• Availability for weekend rotations.
• Preferred CPR certification and ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and transferring.
