Physical Security Specialist (Day Shift)

About the role

Safeguarding the organization's assets and personnel is the primary responsibility of a Security Specialist at @HYVE Solutions. This role involves supporting and administering organizational security plans, executing physical protection measures, maintaining compliance with codes and regulations, conducting internal investigations, and coordinating with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Supports and administers organizational security plans and operations.
• Executes procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property.
• Executes day-to-day damage, vandalism, loss prevention, and other related security risk programs.
• Compiles data for loss control and accident reports.
• Supports and conducts internal investigations in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Captures and maintains records, manuals, and documentation.
• Coordinates activities with local police and emergency agencies as needed.
• For companies with government contracts, coordinates and administers security clearances and other security policies and procedures in accordance with the Department of Defense or appropriate agencies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as criminal justice, security studies, or a related area.
• At least 2 years of experience in a security-related field.
• Knowledge of security protocols, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Understanding of security clearance processes and procedures.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
