Physical Medicine and Remediation Physician

We are seeking a qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for independent medical assessments focused on supporting veterans. Responsibilities Include Review and analyze veterans' medical records via a secure online portal.Conduct comprehensive, non-treating evaluations to document current health conditions.Complete and submit VA-specific Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and promptly.Ensure thorough documentation and submission within 24 hours of assessments.Assess up to four veterans daily. Qualifications And Skills Active MD or DO license with specialization in PM&R.Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with relevant residency training are also considered.Strong typing skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
