Part-time Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician position in Chicago, IL with a national wound physician group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Clinical responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities
• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day
• Perform clinical documentation at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound specific EMR

Training

• Physician level wound management training provided
• Wound fellowship provided, giving all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence
• Paid training provided during onboarding plus 6-month wound care fellowship

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Schedule

• Part-time role: minimum of 3 days per week
• Full-time role: 4-5 days per week
• No call / no weekend clinical responsibilities
• Full-time work schedule: Monday-Friday (7am-4pm) for reference; part-time schedule similarly within weekdays
• Mobile practice: physicians visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of practice location

Compensation

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
