About the role

Join a national wound physician group providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. This part-time position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each assigned facility
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day
• Perform clinical documentation at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of Georgia
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
• Ability to travel within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)

Qualifications

• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors
• Physician-level wound management training provided during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship

Schedule

• Part-time role: minimum of 3 days per week
• Full-time role: 4–5 days per week (Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm)
• No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities

Pay

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits. Paid training is provided during onboarding and the 6-month fellowship.
