About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to perform independent medical assessments for veterans. This role involves reviewing medical records, conducting comprehensive evaluations without providing treatment, and completing VA-specific Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure online portal.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical data and document health conditions accurately
• Ensure timely submission of assessments
• Evaluate up to four veterans daily

Requirements

• Active MD or DO license in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Board certification in relevant specialties preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in digital documentation
• Effective time management skills
