About the role

Join Iconic Care, a physician-owned group of skilled providers (physicians, PAs, and NPs) offering care across ten states, with plans for expansion to all 50 states. We are seeking a passionate, motivated provider to join us full-time and independently offer care and consultations at our contracted facilities.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for regional oversight of clinical care and facility relationships
  • Rounding 2-3 days a week at your own designated facility to care for patients who are experiencing difficulty participating in therapy due to pain or functional limitations
  • Performing clinical point of contact for all Providers in your region
  • Providing clinical training to ensure all Providers display excellent clinical decision making and bedside manner
  • Time shadowing each Provider in the region
  • Leading regular clinical and facility meetings with facility staff
  • Focused assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility primary care teams to optimize therapy participation and functional recovery
  • Providing targeted interventions such as joint injections, Botox treatments, dry needling, and medication management based on patient-specific needs
  • Supporting physiatrists on-site and operating with a high level of autonomy
  • Coordinating care and referring to other specialties or services for issues beyond the scope of physiatry

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • DEA licensed or willing to obtain DEA licensure
  • Skilled Nursing Facility experience
  • Physiatry, Pain Management or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation experience
  • Comfort in performing ultrasound guided peripheral joint injections (knees, shoulders, hips)
  • A genuine passion for providing professional, personalized care in an autonomous environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
