About the role
Join Iconic Care, a physician-owned group of skilled providers (physicians, PAs, and NPs) offering care across ten states, with plans for expansion to all 50 states. We are seeking a passionate, motivated provider to join us full-time and independently offer care and consultations at our contracted facilities.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for regional oversight of clinical care and facility relationships
- Rounding 2-3 days a week at your own designated facility to care for patients who are experiencing difficulty participating in therapy due to pain or functional limitations
- Performing clinical point of contact for all Providers in your region
- Providing clinical training to ensure all Providers display excellent clinical decision making and bedside manner
- Time shadowing each Provider in the region
- Leading regular clinical and facility meetings with facility staff
- Focused assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility primary care teams to optimize therapy participation and functional recovery
- Providing targeted interventions such as joint injections, Botox treatments, dry needling, and medication management based on patient-specific needs
- Supporting physiatrists on-site and operating with a high level of autonomy
- Coordinating care and referring to other specialties or services for issues beyond the scope of physiatry
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- DEA licensed or willing to obtain DEA licensure
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience
- Physiatry, Pain Management or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation experience
- Comfort in performing ultrasound guided peripheral joint injections (knees, shoulders, hips)
- A genuine passion for providing professional, personalized care in an autonomous environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
