About the role

The Non-Technical Hospital Laboratory Coordinator will provide expertise and champion results in coordinating non-technical support functions within the department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of non-technical support functions on assigned shifts under supervision.
• Perform all non-technical duties within the department, including specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
• Support the department in achieving goals related to service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.

Requirements

• A High School or GED diploma required.
• Vocational/Technical diploma preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in specimen collection and processing.
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
