Phlebotomist PRN

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Phlebotomist to join TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services.

The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood collection procedures within areas of competency. Additional duties include receiving and processing laboratory specimens, answering department phones, and managing inventory and supply receipts.

When acting as the Laboratory Assistant, the role expands to coordinate collections among Phlebotomists and prepare and process samples for testing and reference lab testing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; formal phlebotomy training preferred
• One year of hospital experience preferred
