Pay

$19.80 - $29.70 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders for laboratory testing from the hospital computer system.
• Collect blood from patients of any age or status.
• Log specimens into the laboratory computer system.
• Follow state, OSHA, and other agency regulations.
• Perform special procedures and assist the lab aide when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program of study preferred.
• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist preferred.
• Certified as a Phlebotomist from a nationally recognized institute preferred.
