NPD Engineer Medical Devices

About the role

A mechanical engineer with 5-10 years of product design and development experience is sought. Proficiency in NX CAD and PDM/PLM systems is required, along with strong expertise in GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and design for manufacturability principles.

• Hands-on knowledge of standard parts libraries, component selection, and cost engineering.
• Familiarity with tools such as BCT aClass, Check Mate, IMM, and DFMPro.

Responsibilities

Experience in DFX practices, regulatory standards, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, systems, and manufacturing teams is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills are also required.
