About the role

As a PRN Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain diverse experience by working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/patient service center locations. This role offers variety, skill development, and growth opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, or 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Must pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Schedule

PRN hours during business hours based on business needs. Business hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.
