Phlebotomist PRN

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Phlebotomist to join Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services.

The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood collection procedures within areas of competency. Additional duties include receiving and processing laboratory specimens, answering department phones, inventorying and receiving supplies. When acting as the Laboratory Assistant, the role also coordinates collections among Phlebotomists and prepares and processes samples for testing and reference lab testing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; formal phlebotomy training preferred
• One year of hospital experience preferred
