Responsibilities
- Obtain blood specimens for inpatients and the Emergency Department, two evenings per week and servicing Hartford area nursing homes, three evenings per week.
- Process laboratory specimens for clinical analysis.
- Provide patient information to the appropriate caregiver.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of Phlebotomy Training Program
- One year of phlebotomy experience
- National Certification preferred
- Dependable transportation required and good driving record

Your work is vital to the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients.
Skills
Exceptional talents, ability to identify patients per policy, venipuncture skills, specimen labeling, specimen processing, and patient communication.

40 hrs., 3 pm - 11:30 pm, Mon/Wed/Fri will service area nursing homes and Tues/Thurs will cover inpatient/ED, every other weekend/holiday rotation - On-Call Hours
