Phlebotomist - 40 hrs - Nights - 11pm-7:30am - Inpatient/ED
About the role
We’re hiring a Phlebotomist to join our Specimen Processing Team in a dynamic, high-energy inpatient environment. Your work will be vital to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients.
Responsibilities
- Properly identify patients per policy and perform venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods.
- Label all specimens following laboratory policy.
- Receive, cancel, order, and process laboratory/microbiology specimens.
- Provide patient information to the appropriate caregiver.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Training Program.
- At least one year of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
- National Certification (preferred).
Schedule
40 hours per week, Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend, rotating holidays.
