Responsibilities
- Proactively manage prescription exceptions, resolving claim rejects and facilitating communication with members and healthcare providers to ensure continuous care.
- Accurately input member demographic and prescription details into advanced data processing systems, maintaining the integrity and precision of patient records.
- Investigate and resolve complex insurance billing challenges and address escalated member inquiries to ensure smooth financial processing and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a vital link by escalating prescription-related questions to Pharmacists for expert interpretation and guiding appropriate processing steps.
- Engage with patients and physicians through inbound and outbound calls, providing compassionate support and clear information regarding prescriptions.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the efficient operation of pharmaceutical services.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted).
- Hold a valid Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee License.
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical support role.
- Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification, as mandated by operational state regulations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Schedule
- Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
