Pharmacy Technician [SK-13998]

This role is at the heart of medication fulfillment, ensuring patients receive their prescriptions accurately and promptly. Your work will directly contribute to patient satisfaction and the smooth operation of essential health services.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting outreach to members and physicians to ensure smooth medication delivery.
• Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
• Investigate and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and address escalated member concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Serve as a critical link, escalating complex prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist for expert interpretation or providing clear guidance on processing.
• Engage with patients and physicians through inbound and/or outbound calls, providing support and facilitating communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the fulfillment process.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation (Texas).
• Valid Pharmacy Technician Trainee License or Pharmacy Technician License for the State of Texas.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted).

Schedule

• 8-10 hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
