Pharmacy Supervisor - Inpatient - Full Time Days - Warren

General Summary
Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm may require extra hours depending on department needs. Location: Warren.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedules and assigns daily work assignments for pharmacy staff.
- Trains, coaches, and evaluates associates on performance expectations, and applies progressive discipline when appropriate. Participates in hiring and termination procedures within span of control.
- Acts as liaison between department and other hospital departments, physicians, and external customers in matters relating to pharmacy operations.
- Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure that procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
Education/Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
- Pharmacist license credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 3 years of Hospital experience required, leadership experience preferred.
- USP Sterile Compounding Board Certification preferred or obtained within a year of hire.
