Pharmacist, Hospital At Home, Baptist Downtown

About the role

Baptist Medical Center is currently seeking a Pharmacist to join their Hospital at Home team at Baptist Downtown. This is a full-time opportunity with a 7-on/7-off coverage model from 7:00am - 6:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Checking patient orders and authorizations for accuracy
• Dispensing medications accurately
• Supervising technicians and ensuring their work is accurate
• Consulting with other medical staff on medication and regimen issues
• Working independently with autonomy
• Answering questions for all health care professionals
• Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services

Requirements

• A Pharmacist license in the State of Florida is required
• In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy experience is preferred
• A completed PGY1 residency is preferred

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy
• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH
• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy
