Pharmacist, Evening, Baptist Downtown

About the Role

This is a central operations role within the Central Pharmacy, IV room, and OR Satellite at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time, various shift opportunity offering hybrid functions within the central pharmacy and the chance to gain clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Entering orders with great accuracy
• Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor
• Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned
• Answering questions for all health care professionals
• Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required
• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required
• Bachelor of Science Required
• A Pharmacist license within the State of Florida is required

Qualifications

• In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy Experience is preferred
• PGY1 Residency is preferred

Schedule

Primary working hours and shift are 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with every fourth weekend shifts required.
