About the role
Baptist Medical Center is currently seeking an Emergency Department Pharmacist to join their team at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities
- Enters orders with great accuracy.
- Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
- Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
- Answers questions for all health care professionals.
- Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
- Maintains patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required
- Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required
- Bachelor of Science Required
Qualifications
- Full time, evening shift position.
- Schedule: Evening shift, 13:00 to 23:30.
- 7 days on, 7 days off rotation.
Skills
- Accuracy in entering orders.
