About the role

Baptist Health is a locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system in Northeast Florida, known for its high patient satisfaction and multiple centers of excellence. This role is based at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.

Responsibilities

• Entering orders with great accuracy
• Checking technician work for accuracy before releasing medications and solutions to the floor
• Serving as a supervisor and committee member
• Answering questions for all health care professionals
• Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy
• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH
• Bachelor of Science
• A Pharmacist license within the State of Florida is required
• In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy Experience is preferred
• PGY1 Residency is preferred

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science Required
