About the role

Baptist Health is a locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system in Northeast Florida. They provide a wide range of services including preventive and specialty care through multiple locations and six hospitals. Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is currently seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medications to patient floors
• Stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet
• Assist with duties within the central pharmacy
• Prepare and distribute medications under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Maintain the drug inventory
• Maintain patient records

Requirements

• A Pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida is required
• Less than 1 year of technician experience
• A high school diploma is required
• A Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy is required
• A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) is preferred
