Pet Playtime Coordinator - Wesley Chapel
Description
Pet Paradise is seeking Playtime Coordinators to organize and manage daytime play groups at our Wesley Chapel resort location. The starting rate is $14.00 per hour, with a $0.50 increase every six months and an additional $0.50 increase on each annual anniversary.

Essential Functions
- Interact with and monitor dogs in play areas (play-yard and pool)
- Use appropriate toys and tools to ensure a safe level of play
- Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and spread attention and play among all dogs in the playgroup
- Minimize stress levels of all dogs in the playgroup and handle aggressive or unusual behaviors
- Control levels of play by following procedures and instructions provided by management and utilizing proper dog handling techniques
- Afford assistance with cleaning and play-yard maintenance duties
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- True passion for working with animals
- Comfortable working in all-weather conditions (heat and humidity)
- Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Flexible to resort schedule needs including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
