About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Create a positive and respectful environment that promotes dignity and well-being
Requirements
- Current Personal Support Specialist (PSS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Must have up-to-date vaccinations and be willing to provide proof prior to hire
