Personal Injury Pre Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service by updating them on the status of their case through phone calls, text messaging, and emails.
• Review documents to ensure accuracy.
• Keep thorough documentation in the case management system.
• Manage the retrieval and processing of medical records and bills.
• Draft documents at the direction of the attorney.
• Offer professional assistance to the attorney assigned to the file.

Requirements

• Three years as a personal injury paralegal or similar experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to compute basic math skills and apply them to everyday situations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Lawbase Case Management software, and Worldox.
• Regularly required to talk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, hear, stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift up to 10 pounds, and use close vision.

Pay

This is a full-time position.

Schedule

The first week of training will be in our Charleston office. JLF will pay for the hotel room and reimburse mileage for training.
