Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Manage case files from inception through trial
- Cook discovery responses and document production
- Schedule depositions, mediations, expert meetings, and court appearances
- Maintain litigation deadlines and attorney calendars
- Prepare trial notebooks and exhibits
- Request and organize medical and business records
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Aid attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting complex litigation matters
- Strong knowledge of Texas litigation procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
